The orange oakleaf (Kallima inachus) is also known as the Indian oakleaf or dead leaf. This lovely butterfly is found in Tropical Asia from India to Japan. When threatened, it closes its wings and drops to the forest floor, mimicking a dead leaf as camouflage.
